You may be surprised to learn that not only can you cook frozen veggies in the air fryer, but they taste amazing too!

One of my favorite veggies to air fry is frozen green beans. Frozen green beans have the same great flavor as fresh ones but they’re usually more affordable. They also last longer – try 10 months in the freezer.

This means even if the produce drawer in your fridge is nearly empty, you still have healthy options for a perfect side dish.

Toss the frozen green beans in your favorite spices to change things up or keep it simple with salt and pepper. This simple recipe is the perfect way to increase your veggie intake which is always a great thing.

If you’re looking for air fryer recipes you’re in the right place! The air fryer is one of my favorite appliances and it’s perfect for crisping up your favorite veggies.

  • Frozen green beans – Green beans are naturally vegan, gluten-free, and perfect for low-carb diets. They’re rich in folate and are a healthy upgrade from french fries.
  • Olive oil – the oil helps give crispness to the frozen veggies as they cook. Nobody wants a mushy green bean. The oil helps achieve the best results.
  • Salt & pepper – Salt and black pepper are the only seasonings you need for flavorful green beans BUT other spices can be a nice change of pace. Try garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun, Italian, Taco, or Lemon Pepper seasoning for even more flavor.

The total time in the air fryer will vary depending on how crispy you want your beans to be. Cook them for less time if you want a soft texture.

If you are using string beans, the cook time will be shorter.
