I am obsessed with roasting green veggies in the air fryer! So far, I’ve tried broccoli, brussels sprouts, and now asparagus. Read about the benefits of eating green vegetables every day.

I’ve said this before, but I love cooking in the air fryer because it’s easier to make smaller batches and you don’t have to heat up your kitchen. This is like the air fryer I have.

Recipe Tips & Substitutions

  • If you aren’t on a dairy-free diet, you can feel free to sprinkle on 1-2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese after the asparagus cooks.
  • You can also zest your lemon before slicing it. Sprinkle a teaspoon of the fresh lemon zest on the crispy asparagus for even more lemony flavor.
  • If you like spicy food, feel free to sprinkle on some red pepper flakes on top too.
  • If you prefer to make this is the oven, then you can do that too! Just place your asparagus onto a baking sheet and bake it for 15 minutes at 400 degrees F.
