Happy Thanksgiving from my home to yours!
The official onset of the holidays, while mostly fun, can be stressful and depressing for others. I don’t have a strong family structure and live far away from those members whom I am close with, so I can identify with the holiday blues.
My favorite way to counteract negative feelings is with gratitude.
I am grateful to be alive.
I am grateful to have friends who feel like family.
I am grateful to be married to and live with someone who loves me just the way I am:
I am grateful for the world’s ugliest pumpkin pie that I made on a whim yesterday morning…
