This isn’t my first time blogging about this particular hike near a local nude beach:
Rather than of people, though, my view of preference is of naked ocean, birds, and/or the occasional otter from the cave, ha!
I should say that today’s post is part of What I Ate Wednesdays and includes a picture of everything I ate in a day. Before the hike, I made a green smoothie with my homemade vanilla hemp milk base plus steamed kale, spinach, frozen fruit, and all my favorite superfood add-ins:
Fresh herbs are all of the farmers’ markets now, so I went crazy with fresh basil and mint:
Lunchtime included testing my tolerance to eggs again with a simple scramble of farm-fresh eggs, shallot, chopped celery, served with some avocado, kiwi, and a gluten-free muffin topped with almond butter:
My hiking adventure in the afternoon helped build my dinner appetite for this bowl of onions, steamed broccoli, roasted butternut squash, and a sprouted lentil burger:
Dessert was raspberries and raw organic coconut butter (OMG, YUM!) just scooped out of the jar:
