Gluten Free Crackers

I first heard about this on Instagram (honestly, this is where I find all the cool new trends), but my friends over there are eating the brand called GG Crispbread. I was feeling all left out because the GG brand is not gluten-free, then I saw that Trader Joe’s makes a gluten-free version.

The TJ’s brand is basically the same flavor as GG’s, but using gluten-free grains. They are sweetened with a bit of honey, but overall the flavor is balanced between sweet and savory. I tried finding this brand on Amazon, but the closest version I found was this one using buckwheat, these using quinoa, or this one that’s actually grain-free.

I came up with a few flavor combinations I wanted to share with you. I used my vegetable cutters from Amazon to make them fun.

Coconut Yogurt with Orange Wedges + Toasted Coconut Sprinkles

My favorite coconut yogurt brands are Coconut Cult and Cocoyo. I just spread on about a tablespoon, plus a cara cara orange I cut into triangles, with a topping of dried coconut shreds I toasted on the stovetop for a few minutes.

Banana Mickeys + peanut butter + chocolate chips

Be sure to get a natural peanut butter without added sugars or oils. My favorite brand is this one. I also like to get dark chocolate chips like these.

Banana + Peanut Butter or Almond butter

For those times when you don’t want chocolate (???). Just giving options here. I recommend this brand of almond butter. It’s hard to find organic, but it’s my preference.

Snackcrisp hearts

For the only savory combo I tried, I recommend a dairy-free almond chive cheese + bell pepper hearts.

I like the Kite Hill almond cheeses. They’re really yummy and the texture is very similar to the real version.
