These adorable Grinch Fruit Kabobs are a healthy holiday-themed treat that can be served at parties or school events. This is an easy recipe that kids can help assemble.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 large banana, sliced into 12 slices
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice (for brushing the banana slices)
  • 12 green grapes
  • 12 strawberries (about 1 pint), green top removed
  • 12 white mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Place the banana slices on a small plate or in a bowl. Use a pastry brush to brush each slice with pineapple juice to keep the banana slices from browning.
  2. Then, assemble each kabob by threading on a grape, banana slice, strawberry (with the wide end facing the banana slice), and a marshmallow. See the photos for guidance on how the kabob should look.
  3. Store the kabobs in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve them.
  4. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  1. You will need wooden toothpicks or skewers to make the kabobs.
  2. You can easily double, triple, or quadruple this recipe to make enough kabobs for a larger gathering.
  3. If serving these kabobs to children, be careful of the choking hazard when using toothpicks.
