Recipe Steps

Step One

The first step of this carrot celery juice recipe is to gather up all of your ingredients.

If you’re using a blender to make your juice, combine the ingredients in a high-speed blender like a Vitamix.

Step Two

Chop your produce into pieces that will fit into the feeding tube of your juice. The oranges and lemon do need to be peeled first. Read this article about how to pick a juicer; This is the juicer that I use.

If you’re using a blender, you’ll need to add between 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water to the ingredients to help them blend.

Step Three

The last steps are to juice the ingredients and to serve the juice.

Or, blend the juice until it is smooth.

Step Four

If using a blender, strain the juice in a nut milk bag.

You can store any leftovers in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.

Description

This healthy Carrot Celery Ginger Juice is perfect for hydrating. This recipe is also great when you want to use up extra produce. Make your fresh vegetable juice in a juicer or a blender!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch carrots (about 46 carrots)
  • 1 bunch celery (about 89 stalks)
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 lemon, peeled and sliced
  • 1 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled

Instructions

  1. Wash and gently pat dry the produce. Chop the ingredients into sizes that will fit through the feeding tube of your juicer.
  2. Juice the ingredients, alternating between hard and soft items.
  3. Serve the juice immediately.

  2. BLENDER INSTRUCTIONS: Combine the ingredients with about ¼ cup of filtered water in the base of a blender. Blend on high and then strain the juicer through a nut milk bag.
