I’m still writing 2017 on things, but we’re fully into 2018 now (note to self). I did a favorites round-up for January, so here’s one for February! 2018.
This time of year can be so clear and pretty at the beach. I’ve been trying to walk at there at least a few times a week to enjoy views like this. I was thinking about writing up a clean eating restaurant guide for California’s Central Coast. LMK in the comments if you’d be interested in seeing that.
On days when it’s sunny and warm and I’m near the water, I just feel like I’m in my element. I find the ocean to be very magical.
I wrote some intentions for this month. I might try it again for March. The cool thing about intentions is that they’re not as intense as a goal you check off. I found mine changed over time, too. For instance, I put my book-writing on hold while I work on something else (I’ll tell you about it soon). I did pretty well on the other goals. I’ve been eating a lot at home and trying to be more mindful of my food sensitivities. As far as the social stuff, I went wayyyyyy out of my comfort zone by attending the GoodFest. Do you set monthly intentions?
I’ve already started on some spring cleaning, the first project was my supplement cabinet. Here’s the after shot. It’s not perfect, but the cheapo white shelves I got at Walmart make it easier to grab different bottles now (see what else I found at Walmart here).
I’m still snacking daily on the gluten-free crisp breads from Trader Joe’s. They’re a great afternoon or post-lunch food for me (see all the ways I serve them here).
Speaking of lunch, have you tried the cauliflower crust from Trader Joe’s? I am in love (seen here with almond ricotta cheese and pepperoni).
