I haven’t done a “What I Ate Wednesday” photo food journal since January(!) (see all my previous entries here), so I thought I’d share one with you today. I’ve labeled my eating style “paleo-ish” for lack of a better description. 🙂

In addition to taking Dr. Fuhrman’s supplements (read my review here), I take a whole bunch of others now that I’m seeing a functional medicine doc and working on my gut health and immune system. Can anyone else identify with taking so many supplements, I think I probably take 30+ pills a day now, plus some really nasty liquid-sludgey stuff?!?:
I didn’t need a snack after a nice hot lunch, but I sure was ready for dinner. My plate included a mixture of grass-fed bison mixed with fresh parsley and roasted veggies cooked with pastured ghee (recipe and giveaway coming soon!) and a dollop of sauerkraut:
Dessert? Absolutely. Dates and coconut butter (can you tell I’m on an “all coconut, all the time” kick, ha?):
