Peaches contain high amounts of vitamin C. You can use yellow peaches or white peaches to make your homemade juice.

Honey offers a little touch of sweetness. Feel free to leave it out if your peaches are super sweet. You can also use maple syrup of sugar, if you prefer.

Lemon juice helps tie everything together and retain the bright peach color. The lemon juice also brings out the natural flavors of the peaches. If you don’t have lemon juice, just leave it out.

Step One

Combine the prepared ingredients in the jar of a high-powered blender. It’s best to chop your fresh peaches to make them easier to blend.

Step Two

Process until smooth.

Step Three

Strain the peach juice to get rid of the excess fiber from the skin and pulp.

Step Four

Serve the juice right away, or chill and serve for the optimal sweetness. You can also serve your glass of peach juice with ice cubes if you don’t want to wait.

  • If you don’t have a high-powered blender, you can also use a food processor or an immersion blender to make this fruit juice drink.
  • Fresh juice is best served right after it’s made. But, it can be stored in a covered airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Feel free to add other ingredients to your juice including up to 1-inch of fresh ginger.
  • You can use yellow or white peaches in this recipe.
  • If you want your juice to be thinner, feel free to add up to 1 additional cup of water when blending.

Recipe FAQs

Can I use a juicer to make peach juice?

You can use a juicer if your peaches are on the firm side (but don’t use unripe peaches as they will not be sweet and can even be bitter). If your peaches are too soft, they will not be ideal for feeding into a juicer. In this case, a blender or food processor is better for making peach juice.

What is the difference between peach juice and peach nectar?

Peach juice has had the pulp separated from the juice, where peach nectar is simply blended peaches that has not been strained (kind of like a peach smoothie). Peach puree and peach nectar are the same.

Here’s a delicious recipe for Peach Juice made in a blender. Peach juice is smooth and full of summer flavor. Make this delicious juice with just two main ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, cut into quarters with the pit removed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (from about a quarter of a fresh lemon)
  • 2 teaspoons honey (sweetener is optional; you can use maple syrup or regular sugar, if you prefer)

Instructions

  1. In the base of a high speed blender or food processor, combine the peaches, water, lemon juice, and sweetener (if using). 
  2. Blend or process on high for 20-30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth. 
  3. Then, pour the blended juice through a fine mesh colander, using a spatula to gently push the juice through the colander. Or, pour the mixture through a nut milk bag. Squeeze the juice from the top of the bag through the bottom into a bowl or pitcher, straining out the pulp. 
  4. Chill the juice in the refrigerator, or serve it right away.
