Today’s featured influencer is a fellow blogger and PCOS survivor and someone who inspires me hugely – Stefani Ruper:
In case you aren’t familiar with Stefani’s work, she writes the blog Paleo for Women, plus she is the author of the book Sexy by Nature: The Whole Foods Solution to Radiant Health, Life-Long Sex Appeal, and Soaring.
My first introduction to Stefani came when I was trying to figure out why intermittent fasting wasn’t working for me. I later came to understand through her evaluation that women’s bodies can have a stress response to fasting.
Then, after I moved from a strict plant-based diet to one that was more paleo/primal/ancestral, I came across Stefani’s “PCOS Unlocked” program, one that I highly, highly recommend for women with this condition.
I feel really connected to Stefani in almost every word she speaks on her podcast, it’s kind of uncanny. In fact, in this interview that Stefani did on the Ancestrals RDs podcast, I was blown away by how much wisdom she imparted about self-acceptance, forgiveness, and realizing your worth as an individual beyond your weight (go to around the 22-minute mark in this particular podcast to be inspired).
Stefani, you are a trailblazer for helping women to navigate the difficult journey and balance that comes with recovering health and wanting to feel beautiful, confident, and strong. You are amazing!!!
