You’re going to love these Spicy Black Bean Burgers for a great vegetarian option for your summer barbecue!
Vegetarian Summer Foods
With so many dietary restrictions and preferences, it’s nice to have options when it comes to throwing a party. As a host, it’s really important that I make my guests happy. That’s one reason why I recommend MorningStar Farms®Spicy Black Bean Burgers. They’re delicious and tasty, but also familiar and easy to prepare! My vegetarian friends love that I make the effort to have a burger they can enjoy too.
How to Make Spicy Black Bean Burgers
For this occasion, I grabbed the MorningStar Spicy Black Bean burgers out of the freezer section at one of the big markets near me. The package I bought included four burgers. Click here to learn more about MorningStar Farms and check for Savings and Grilling season tips throughout the summer!
Making the burgers is as easy as throwing them on the grill, or you can microwave them too. Be sure to read the directions on the package for specific recommended cooking times. I found that grilling the burgers for six minutes on either side resulted in a perfectly-cooked burger with lovely grill marks.
Choose Your Burger Toppings
These Spicy Black Bean Burgers have a great flavor on their own, but I always like to offer my summer barbecue guests a variety of topics for their burgers, including sliced tomato, grilled onions, mustard, ketchup, pickles, relish, and buns or lettuce for wrapping.
These burgers also go great with my colorful fruit kebobs made with jicama, strawberries, and blueberries. So easy and festive.
