This Strawberry Orange Juice includes the perfect blend of refreshing flavors and nutritious ingredients.
The strawberries and oranges provide natural sweetness, while the carrots add beta-carotene and the mint leaves balance all of the flavors. Strawberries are one of my very favorite soft red fruits.
Whether you use a juicer or a blender, I know you’re going to love this delicious drink.
Why You Need This Recipe
- Packed with vitamins – Strawberries, oranges, and carrots provide a rich dose of vitamin C and antioxidants.
- No added sugar – Enjoy the natural sweetness of fresh fruit with no extra sweeteners. It’s one of my favorite healthy recipes.
- Versatile and easy – Whether juicing or blending, this recipe is quick to prepare.
Key Ingredients
- Strawberries: juicy and naturally sweet, fresh strawberries add a vibrant flavor and a beautiful color to the juice.
- Oranges: fresh and citrusy, they bring a bright, refreshing taste that balances the sweetness. Fresh orange juice also has lots of vitamin C which supports the immune system.
- Carrots: slightly earthy and subtly sweet, they add depth to the flavor while blending smoothly. Carrots are a budget-friendly orange vegetable.
- Lime or Lemon: a splash of tartness enhances the overall taste and keeps the juice crisp and zesty.
- Mint leaves: cooling, aromatic touch that makes each sip extra refreshing. I love adding mint to juice recipes (see the best herbs to juice).

Recipe Steps
Step One
Wash all of your produce. Cut it into pieces small enough to fit through the feeding tube of your juicer or into small chunks if you are using a blender.
Step Two
Add all ingredients to your chosen machine, adding water if using a blender or food processor.
Please see the recipe card at the end of this post for the exact ingredients and measurements.
Step Three
Blend until smooth or run through the juicer per directions.
Step Four
Strain through a nut milk bag to remove any of the fibrous materials.
Serve the juice immediately or chill for the optimal sweetness and best taste. You can also serve the juice with ice cubes to enhance the natural sweetness and flavor.
I hope you agree that this refreshing drink is perfect on a warm summer day or really at any time of year. It’s one of my favorite fruit juice recipes that is satisfying and nutrient-dense.
Ingredient Swaps
- Raspberries or Blueberries – A great swap for strawberries, adding a slightly different berry flavor and color.
- Grapefruit or Tangerines – Replace oranges with grapefruit for a tangier taste or tangerines for a naturally sweeter option. See my whole list of orange juice substitutes.
- Beets or Sweet Potato – Use beets instead of carrots for an earthy sweetness and rich red hue, or try raw sweet potato for a mild, creamy sweetness.
- Pineapple or Green Apple – Substitute lime or lemon with pineapple for a tropical tang or green apple for a crisp tartness.
- Basil or Ginger – Swap mint for basil to add a fresh herbal note, or ginger for a warm, slightly spicy kick.

Recipe FAQs
For a juicer, you don’t need to peel the carrots, but it’s best to remove the orange peel to avoid bitterness. If using a blender, peeling both will give you a smoother texture.
No problem! Blend all the ingredients with some water, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag for a smoother juice. See my full guide on Juicing with a Vitamix.
This juice is naturally sweet, but if you prefer it even sweeter, try adding a little honey, maple syrup, or an extra orange.
Absolutely! Try adding ginger for a spicy kick, pineapple for extra tropical flavor, or cucumber for a refreshing twist.
