We’re reveling in some unseasonably warm and sunny days here on California’s Central Coast:

On this What I Ate Wednesday, I had a snow-capped breakfast with wild blueberries, buckwheat groats, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, flax, cacao nibs, molasses, and kefir (plus black tea, unpictured):

Lunch was a salad topped with shrimp I sautéed in a teensy bit of organic, grass-fed butter:
I’ve been fermenting things again, and made some cranberry chutney this weekend that I’ve been putting on erry’thing (recipe coming soon!!!):

All that time outdoors makes for a decent appetite. Dinner was locally-raised, grass-fed beef strips served with white rice and vegetables:
