- 1 pound carrots, scrubbed well with the tops removed (about 6 medium carrots)
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Cut the carrots into large pieces, no longer than about 2 inches to help ease the blending process.
- Add the chopped carrots to the base. Blend or process on high for 20-30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth. You may need to use the tamper to push the carrots into the blade.
- Then, pour the blended juice through a nut milk bag, squeezing from the top to catch the carrot juice into a pitcher or bowl. Discard the fiber or save it and use it for another purpose.
- Serve the juice immediately, or transfer it to a jar with a lid and store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Notes
- Depending on the freshness of your carrots, this recipe should yield between 10-12 ounces.
- You donβt have to peel the carrots for this recipe. Just make sure they are scrubbed well and clean.
- Fresh juice is best served right after itβs made. But, it can be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
