Instant Pot Butternut Squash (Cooked Whole)

Here’s a step-by-step guide for how to cook a whole Instant Pot Butternut Squash.  Cook the squash whole and then slice it open easily and safely.  Serve the cooked squash puree in a variety of ways.

Ingredients

–  water – whole butternut              squash

Place the trivet inside the base of  pressure cooker. Pour in the water & place the butternut squash on top of the trivet.

Step 1

Make sure the valve is set to “sealing.”  Once cooking is complete, move the squash to a cutting board.

Step 2

Cut off the top & end of the squash.  Open the squash & scoop out the seeds.
