Instant Pot  Split Pea Soup

Need a simple and hearty dish that the whole family loves? Try this Instant Pot Split Pea Soup with Ham recipe!

 Ingredients 

– olive oil – onion – carrots – celery ribs – garlic cloves – uncooked split              green peas – reduced-sodium            chicken broth – dried thyme – bay leaf – cooked ham steak

Heat oil & sauté veggies with olive oil in the stainless steel insert of an Instant Pot.

Step 1

Rinse split peas in a fine-mesh sieve. Add peas to the pot with the chicken broth, thyme & bay leaf.

Step 2

Cook for 15 minutes at high pressure.

Step 3

Stir in your chopped ham & serve hot.
