Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie

Strawberries and blueberries make an excellent combination in this healthy fruit smoothie. This recipe can be made vegan.

– unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of milk) – fresh strawberries – frozen blueberries – honey (vegans can use maple syrup) – chia seeds

INGREDIENTS:

STEP 1

In the base of a high-speed blender, combine the almond milk, strawberries, blueberries, honey (or maple syrup), and chia seeds.

STEP 2

Blend on high for about 30 seconds, or until the mixture is thick and creamy. If you want to increase the thickness of the smoothie, feel free to add a few ice cubes.
