Vegan  Peanut Butter Pie

Here's how to make a yummy Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie using silken tofu. This is a plant-based version of a classic cream-based dessert.


For the crust:   – unsweetened, dried         shredded coconut   – raw almonds   – pitted dates For the filling:   – organic silken tofu   – maple syrup   – vanilla extract   – cocoa or cacao powder   – natural peanut butter   – dairy-free          chocolate chips

Blend almonds, dried coconut & dates in a food processor.  Press into the bottom of a pie tin & place in refrigerator.


Blend silken tofu, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cocoa powder & peanut butter until smooth.


Pour the pie filling into the crust & chill  until firm.


Sprinkle with chocolate chips, slice & serve!
