Slow Cooker Chicken Stew

Slow Cooker Chicken Stew is comforting and healthy. This version includes lentils and spinach.


– Nonstick cooking spray – boneless, skinless chicken breasts – package frozen chopped spinach – carrots – onion – brown or green lentils – reduced sodium chicken broth – tomato paste – garlic powder – lemon, juiced

Spray the bottom of your slow cooker with a light spray of nonstick cooking spray. Then, add the chicken, spinach, carrots, onion, lentils, broth, tomato paste, and garlic powder. Stir gently to combine.

Step 1

Put the lid on the slow cooker and set the temperature to low for eight hours (or high for six hours).

Step 2

The stew will be nice and thick when it is done cooking.
