Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric Shot

Learn to make a homemade Wellness Shot using fresh or powdered turmeric. Turmeric root has anti-inflammatory properties and is great in a shot.

Ingredients

– turmeric root  – lemon, juiced – coconut water – ground black pepper

If you are using fresh turmeric for this recipe, then peel the skin off the turmeric using a knife or the back of a spoon.

Step 1

Cut the turmeric into 3-4 pieces and place it in a high-speed blender. Add the lemon juice, coconut water, and black pepper.

Step 2

Turn the blender on high and blend for 30-45 seconds, or until the ingredients are smooth.
