Air Fryer Peaches is a delicious and simple summertime dessert recipe that tastes like a healthy peach cobbler. Air fried fruit tastes similar to grilled fruit, but without the need to go outside or use a grill. This recipe is naturally vegetarian and gluten-free.

  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 peaches, cut in half with the pits removed
  • 1/4 cup loosely packed brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, ghee, or vegan butter, softened
  • Whipped cream, ice cream, or dairy-free ice cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Place the peach halves inside your air fryer basket with the cut side down. Set the temperature to 350°F for 6 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter. Stir gently to combine.
  3. When the peaches are done cooking for the first 6 minutes, open the basket. Use tongs to turn the peaches over so the cut side is facing up.
  4. Then, use a spoon to divide the sugar and butter mixture between each of the peach halves.
  5. Close the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 5 minutes at 350°F.
  6. When the peaches are done cooking, they will have softened and started to caramelize slightly.
  7. Use tongs to transfer the peaches to a serving tray or plate. Top with whipped cream or ice cream (optional), and serve warm.

Notes

  1. You can use yellow or white peaches in this recipe. Yellow peaches tend to be a little bit more acidic and “peach” flavored, while yellow peaches tend to be sweeter with a mellower peach flavor.
  2. You can use an air fryer liner to help prevent any extra filling from falling through the air fryer basket, but it’s not necessary.
  3. Try not to use peaches that are overly ripe as they will be too mushy to cut cleanly in half. You can use peaches that have just ripened as they will be the easiest to cut in half. You can tell whether a peach is ripe or not by pressing gently on the skin. For this recipe, the peaches should just be slightly soft.
  4. This recipe is best made right before you want to serve it. Store any leftover peaches in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Enjoy any leftovers cold or at room temperature (as opposed to re-heating).
  5. Some air fryers need to be preheated. Be sure to read the manufacturer’s guide for your specific air fryer model to determine if it needs to be preheated.
