This post includes a recipe for Homemade Chocolate Mint Tea


  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • 6 ounces hot water
  • 1/4 teaspoon chocolate extract OR 1 teaspoon cocoa powder


  1. Place the mint in a mug and pour the hot water over it.
  2. Use your spoon to smash the mint a bit to release the mint flavor.
  3. Stir in the chocolate extract or cocoa powder.
  4. Serve hot.


To make this more like a traditional hot chocolate, replace the water with unsweetened almond milk. Use a few drops of stevia to sweeten it to taste.
