This post includes a recipe for Homemade Chocolate Mint Tea
- 1 sprig fresh mint
- 6 ounces hot water
- 1/4 teaspoon chocolate extract OR 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- Place the mint in a mug and pour the hot water over it.
- Use your spoon to smash the mint a bit to release the mint flavor.
- Stir in the chocolate extract or cocoa powder.
- Serve hot.
To make this more like a traditional hot chocolate, replace the water with unsweetened almond milk. Use a few drops of stevia to sweeten it to taste.
