5 from 1 review

This Orange Lemon Ginger Juice is a delicious alternative to regular orange juice. The combination of flavors is invigorating and the ingredients are healthy and full of anti-inflammatory properties.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large oranges
  • 1 large lemon
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger, about 2 inches
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • A few mint leaves for garnish (optional)
  • Ice cubes for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Juice the oranges and lemon using a citrus juicer or by hand. Strain the juice afterward to remove any seeds or excess pulp, if you prefer a smoother juice.
  2. Juice the ginger using a juicer. Or, press the ginger using a garlic press to extract the juice. For a less intense ginger flavor, you might want to start with juicing a smaller piece and then add more to taste.
  3. Combine the orange juice, lemon juice, and ginger juice in a large pitcher. Stir well to ensure the flavors are evenly mixed.
  4. Stir in the honey and refrigerate the juice mixture for at least an hour to allow the flavors to blend and the juice to chill.
  5. Serve the chilled juice in glasses, adding ice cubes if preferred. Garnish each glass with a sprig of mint for an added touch of freshness.

Notes

  1. This recipe can easily be doubled for more servings.
