Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large oranges
- 1 large lemon
- 1 piece of fresh ginger, about 2 inches
- 2 tablespoons honey
- A few mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Ice cubes for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Juice the oranges and lemon using a citrus juicer or by hand. Strain the juice afterward to remove any seeds or excess pulp, if you prefer a smoother juice.
- Juice the ginger using a juicer. Or, press the ginger using a garlic press to extract the juice. For a less intense ginger flavor, you might want to start with juicing a smaller piece and then add more to taste.
- Combine the orange juice, lemon juice, and ginger juice in a large pitcher. Stir well to ensure the flavors are evenly mixed.
- Stir in the honey and refrigerate the juice mixture for at least an hour to allow the flavors to blend and the juice to chill.
- Serve the chilled juice in glasses, adding ice cubes if preferred. Garnish each glass with a sprig of mint for an added touch of freshness.
