Gluten-Free Chicken Teriyaki

Ingredients:

–reduced sodium tamari – rice vinegar – brown sugar – ground ginger – garlic cloves – cooking oil (I used avocado oil) – boneless, skinless chicken cutlets or thighs,  – cornstarch  – warm water

Step 1

In a medium nonstick skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and let it start to cook on all sides, stirring occasionally.

Step 2

After about 7 minutes of cook time for the chicken, pour the sauce over the chicken.

Step 3

In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch or arrowroot starch with the water. Stir to combine and then pour into the skillet.
