– long-grain basmati white rice
– reduced-sodium vegetable broth
– ground turmeric
– cinnamon stick
– cumin seeds
– salt
– ground black pepper
– golden raisins
– chopped cashews

Place rice in a fine-mesh sieve & rinse under cool, running water.
