- 1/4 cup hemp seeds
- 3 1/4 cups filtered water
- 2 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 vanilla bean (just the seeds) or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the hemp seeds, filtered water, and pitted dates in the pitcher of a high-speed blender.
- Use a paring knife to cut off the ends of the vanilla bean. Then, hold the bean firmly against a cutting board and slice the bean lengthwise. Open the bean and scrape out the seeds, adding them to the pitcher. Discard the empty vanilla bean pod. Or, if you don’t have a vanilla bean, then just use vanilla extract.
- Put the lid on the blender and blend on high for about 30-45 seconds, or until the milk is thick and creamy. You do not need to strain the milk before serving.

- You can use the seeds of a vanilla bean or vanilla extract in this recipe.
- If you don’t have a high-speed blender, you can still make this recipe. Your milk just won’t be as creamy and may separate after its blended.
- You can easily cut this recipe in half if you want to make a smaller batch.
- Store your blended Vanilla Hemp Milk in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Simply shake the jar before serving if you find the hemp milk separates.
- You can use hemp milk to replace dairy milk with cereal, granola, or chia pudding.
