Air Fryer Granola Ingredients

ingredients for homemade granola.
  • Rolled oats – Rolled oats are the main ingredient of any good granola. Be sure to buy gluten-free labeled oats if you can’t tolerate gluten. Don’t use quick oats or instant oats for this recipe.
  • Chopped almonds – Almonds contain healthy fats, fiber, and plant-based protein. They’re add a delicious crunch to homemade granola. If you don’t like them, use walnuts or pecans instead.
  • Pumpkin seeds – Seeds add more crunch and nutty flavor. Pepitas can typically be found with the nuts or you can buy them online. You can also use flax seeds or sunflower seeds.
  • Raisins – For a chewy, sweet bite! You can also use dried cranberries or cherries or other types of dry fruits if you prefer.
  • Sea salt – Sea salt accentuates all the flavors of the granola.
  • Maple syrup – Maple syrup adds sweetness. I like using a liquid sweetener as opposed to brown sugar in this recipe.
  • Coconut oil – The mixture of maple syrup and coconut oil is what makes the granola nice and crisp.
