Multo by CookingPal All-in-One Kitchen Appliance Review
Have you ever wished for a single kitchen appliance that had the ability to transform ingredients into a fully-cooked healthy and tasty meal? Your wishes have been granted! In today’s post, I’ll review the Multo All-in-One Kitchen Appliance by CookingPal.
This is a sponsored post by CookingPal; all opinions are my own.
What is Multo?
A few months ago, I was asked by the folks at CookingPal to review their all-in-one kitchen appliance known as Multo. I had heard about this type of “multicooker” device that has many different functions before, but I had never personally used one.
As you can see from the photo above, Multo has two main parts: the stainless steel mixing (cooking) bowl with base and the freestanding tablet.
The stainless steel mixing bowl works like a blender, food processor, and cooking pot. This means that the option to blend, chop, and heat are in all in one appliance (known as an all-in-one kitchen appliance).
Additionally, Multo comes with two steamer trays (one shallow and one deep) that can be attached to the top of the mixing bowl. The heat from the blender steams the food in the steamer trays.
With all of these options based around one device, this means that you can effectively prepare and cook an entire meal in one pot.
An example of how this works is that you can chop ingredients for a topping or puree in the bowl, then cook those same ingredients in the same bowl while the steamer trays on top are steaming foods like vegetables and chicken or fish.
Once the ingredients are cooked, then you just combine them on a plate and your meal is served!
You can even then clean the Multo with the touch of a button.
It is truly an efficient and cost-effective appliance because it combines so many prepping and cooking functions in one device.
Multo Tablet
The tablet (aka Smart Kitchen Hub) that comes with Multo connects through Wifi and Bluetooth and offers an extensive recipe collection.
The tablet also controls Multo with the touch screen.
Some of the categories of recipes and types of cuisine and diet include:
- Main dish recipes
- Drink recipes
- Asian cuisine recipes
- Mexican cuisine recipes
- Keto diet recipes
- Gluten-free diet recipes
- Vegan diet recipes
In addition to offering step-by-step recipes, the Smart Kitchen Hub is also the control panel for the cooking device.
It’s truly an example of how technology can make cooking easier!
For prepping, Multo takes over the tedious task of chopping.
In addition to chopping, it can also help you prep ingredients with these actions:
- Whisking
- Grinding
- Grating
- Emulsifying
- Boiling
- Weighing
- Kneading
- Mixing
But the Multo is not just for prepping foods (similar to what a food processor or blender can do), but one of its main functions is for cooking.
This device can:
- Slow cook
- Boil
- Sous-vide
- Steam
- Saute
- Keep warm
Again, if you are wondering what the evolution of cooking looks like with the power of technology, this is it!

Why Cooking at Home is Important
Believe it or not, but at least one study of more than 35,000 people showed that the more often you eat meals prepared away from home, the greater risk you have of dying.
Researchers also found an association between people who eat more than two meals prepared away from home per day and a higher risk of dying from cardiovascular disease and cancer.
On a more positive note, another study of more than 11,000 people showed that those people who ate home cooked meals more than five times per week (as compared with people who ate at home less than three times per week) had a greater chance of having a normal body mass index (BMI) and normal body fat percentage. These people who ate home-cooked meals also have an overall higher intake of fruits and vegetables and vitamin C intake.
This evidence goes to show that food quality matters, and cooking at home is best for diet quality and health outcomes.
So, if you want to work on your health and/or weight management, then you should consider making more of your meals at home. Multo makes it easy to do just that.
How Multo Makes Home Cooking Easier
How does Multo make it easier to cook food?
The answer is that it combines many functions into one unit. It also makes the process of recipe selection easier with its extensive recipe library with all types of categories for ingredients, cuisines, diets, and cooking levels.
And, let’s be real, it’s more fun to cook with the assistance of technology! I love having the tablet to guide me on each step, plus the photos to know if I’m doing it correctly.
Multo has personally helped me expand my recipe choices and find healthy recipes that go beyond my boring repertoire of baked chicken, steamed veggies, and roast potatoes.
With Multo, I’ve been cooking a lot more well-rounded meals without taking more time in the kitchen.
What It’s Like to Cook with Multo
I’ll have to admit that I was a bit hesitant to try my first recipe using Multo. I was concerned that it would be hard to use. I was also worried that the technology would be confusing or that I would push the wrong button or make some other type of mistake.
To make it easier to cook my first recipe, I printed out the one I was going to make from my computer. I made Scallops and Spinach with Yuzu Cauliflower Puree.
Before I started cooking, I shopped for the ingredients and got them all on my kitchen countertop. Then, I took a deep breath and turned on the tablet.
I was relieved to discover that the learning curve was not as steep as I thought. Multo is intuitive to use and the table took me through each step I needed to do for the recipe.
In just about 30 minutes, I had a balanced meal with cauliflower puree, steamed spinach, and Yuzu-flavored scallops ready to eat. It was delicious!
And, the clean up was a breeze. I added dish soap to the bowl and used the “clean” cycle which took less than a minute.. Easy peasy.
What Makes Multo Special?
So, if you’re trying to decide whether or not to purchase a Multo, then I’ve summarized the pros and cons here.
If you want to make it easier on yourself to make delicious, nutritious, and high-quality meals at home, then you’ll need the tools to do so. Multo combines the power of 15 different appliances into one unit. In this way, it is more cost-effective and efficient than having so many different appliances and tools in your kitchen.
Another huge benefit of Multo is that it has an extensive recipe collection that are all created specifically for the unit with nutritional info and new ones uploaded every month. The recipes are organized very well and can be selected in several different ways including by cooking level, dietary needs, ingredient, and cuisine.
Multo is easy to clean! I appreciate this very much as I hate doing dishes. I love that I can either use the self-cleaning cycle or I can put most of the parts in the dishwasher (some are best put in the top of the dishwasher). Either way, it’s simple and fast.
I also love the Smart Kitchen Hub that comes with Multo. It is easy to use and allows you to control the cooking process wirelessly. I also appreciate the step-by-step instructions and photos that make it easy for even the most beginner cooks to follow each recipe.
What are the Cons of Multo?
Since this is a review, I want to share some of the downsides of Multo.
For instance, some people may be intimidated by using technology in the kitchen. While there is a learning curve with any new appliance, Multo makes it easy with step-by-step instructions and very detailed recipes.
Multo is also not a small appliance. While it’s not any larger than most air fryers, high-speed blenders, or other countertop appliances, you may need to move things around to make space for it. Additionally, I don’t think you’ll want to put it in a cabinet as you’ll be using it on a weekly or even daily basis.
Lastly, Multo is an investment! The price tag is not inexpensive, but it does carry a lot of value considering that it can replace up to 15 other appliances or tools.
Here is an overview of what comes in the box once you purchase it:
