Honey Lemon Tea Recipe Benefits

  • Adapt the recipe to your needs. Make it with just 2 simple ingredients or add pieces of ginger or turmeric root for even more nourishment and flavor.
  • Make a double batch and share it first thing in the morning with your family.

Ingredients

fresh sliced lemon and jarred honey on table ready to make tea.
  • Fresh lemons are easy to find and are affordable. They are also a great source of vitamin C and have a bright flavor that goes so well in a hot tea. I also like using lemons in my Cucumber Ginger Lemon Water recipe.
  • Honey is a natural sweetener that is also great for soothing a sore throat (maybe even more effective than cough medicine)! See my list of the best natural sweeteners.
  • Filtered water is water that has been filtered using any number of methods to remove chemicals, pesticides, and chlorine.
