Recipe Steps

Step One

Spray the inside of the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. If it’s your first time using your air fryer, be sure to read the instruction manual to make sure you don’t need to preheat the basket.

In a small bowl, stir together all the seasonings and set aside.

Step Two

Lay the pork chops on a plate and use a paper towel to pat both sides dry. This is an important step as it will help the seasonings stick to the meat.

Please see the recipe card at the end of this post for the exact ingredients and measurements.

Step Three

Drizzle both sides of the pork chops with oil and then divide the seasoning between both sides of the pork chops.

Step Four

Recipe FAQs

What temperature are pork chops done at?

The pork chops are done when they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Some people don’t realize the USDA’s guidelines for pork changed back in 2011 from 160 degrees to 145 degrees which results in a more tender pork chop.

Can I layer or stack the pork chops to fit more in the air fryer?

No, you need to air fry them in a single layer with a little space between them or the hot air will not circulate and cook them evenly.

Can I cook pork loins this way?

Yes! Check out my recipe for Air Fryer Pork Loin.
