Easy Deviled Egg Salad
This easy and satisfying recipe for Deviled Egg Salad is going to become your favorite. It’s creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet. This recipe is gluten-free and dairy-free.
Deviled eggs are one of my favorite foods ever! My grandmother used to make them as an appetizer on holidays, and I would literally eat a handful of them, often ruining my appetite for the main meal.
The ingredients for this Deviled Egg Salad are so simple, but they go together so nicely. There is the slight tanginess from the mustard paired with the sweetness from the pickle relish. The mayonnaise just brings it all together.
Today’s Egg Salad Recipe tastes just like a deviled egg, but in salad form.
Recipe Steps
Step One
To make deviled egg salad, you must start with hard-boiled eggs. I think the absolute easiest method is to make Instant Pot Hardboiled Eggs. Ideally, you would cook them and chill them before making the salad.
Step Two
Next, you just need to chop or slice 4 hard-boiled eggs (or you can easily double or triple this recipe). I like to use this basic egg slicer to help make this task super fast. You can also use a knife to chop your eggs into bite-sized pieces.
Step Three
The last step is to combine the sliced eggs, relish, mustard, and mayonnaise into a mixing bowl. You can add salt and pepper to taste.
How to Serve Egg Salad?
I like to serve my egg salad on top of toasted grain-free bread, on a cracker, or on top of crisp romaine salad. You could also use it as a dip for carrots sticks or celery sticks.

★★★★★
Grandma never used sweet pickle relish, but a moisture of mayo, mustard, a small bit of apple cider vinegar, and a dash of sugar or sweetener.
