How to Make Rosemary Coffee
Supercharge your morning cup of coffee with the addition of fresh rosemary. This easy upgrade can benefit your memory and health! Learn how to make delicious Rosemary Coffee.
You’ll never believe how easy it is to make this rosemary coffee. You really just need a sprig of fresh rosemary that will infuse the coffee as the hot water runs over it.
It’s such an easy coffee hack that tastes amazing too!
Rosemary Coffee Benefits
- Rosemary itself is a superfood. It contained the antioxidants caffeic acid and rosmarinic acid, as well as other nutritional benefits. Rosemary has also been studied for its ability to increase memory.
- For this recipe, I generally use fresh rosemary, but you can also use dried rosemary leaves.
- And, to be clear, you don’t actually consume any rosemary in this recipe, but the oils from the rosemary get released as the hot water runs over it, infusing the coffee with rosemary flavor.
Recipe Steps
This is a very easy coffee recipe that is a great way to add extra nutrition to your morning cup of joe.
Step One
To start, just place a fresh sprig at the bottom of your coffee filter. Then, add your ground coffee (I recommend always using fair-trade, organic coffee beans that you grind yourself).
See my list of the best organic coffee brands.
Step Two
Then, just run your coffee maker as usual. You can also do this using a coffee press. You can discard the sprig of fresh rosemary after you have made your coffee.
Step Three
Serve your coffee and enjoy hot!

Recipe FAQs
This health upgrade couldn’t be easier! I’m sure you’re wondering how this Rosemary Coffee tastes? I wasn’t sure if it would be too strong even though I love the flavor and odor of rosemary. You can definitely taste it, but it’s a mild flavor, as if you added a few drops of a flavor extract. But, this flavor is 100% real and healthy and awesome.
Yes, absolutely!
Yes, you can. I would recommend using 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary leaves per batch.
