  • Cucumbers are so great for juicing as they are full of water. They are also usually budget-friendly too. Or, try growing them in your own garden. I have grown them in the past in my patio garden.
  • Green apples are generally lower in natural sugars than red apples, and they are also easy to find and usually not too expensive.
  • Ginger add so much brightness and tangy flavor to this green juice recipe.
  • Lemon also adds a bright flavor and vitamin C.

Recipe Steps

collage for making cucumber apple lemon juice in blender.

Step One

Wash and cut the cucumber and green apple so they are small enough to fit through the feeding tube of your juicer.

Or, if you want to use a blender, add the ingredients to the pitcher of a high-speed blender.

Step Two

Feed the slices into the juicer alternating between hard and soft pieces to help the juicer extract the most juice.

If using a blender, add water and blend until smooth.

Step Three

Repeat until you’ve used up all the produce.

Step Four

Pour the juice from the juice collector into a glass and enjoy immediately.

This apple cucumber juice is such a pretty green color, plus the combination of cucumber, lemon, fresh ginger, and apple makes it taste delicious.

You’ll likely get some health benefits from the juice, although you may wish to ask your healthcare provider if drinking juice is appropriate for you.

Recipe Tips

  • You can easily double or triple this recipe for more servings.

This Cucumber Apple Juice recipe tastes really great and is perfect for a quick nutrient boost. I’ll show how easy it is to make using a juicer or a blender. This hydrating green juice can aid in healthy weight management, especially if it is swapped out for sugary soda.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 2 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 large English cucumber, chopped
  • 2 green apples, cored and chopped
  • 1/2 lemon, peeled
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 cup water (if using a blender)

Instructions

  1. Cut the cucumber and apples into large pieces that will fit through the feeding tube of a juicer. If you will be using a blender to make your juice, then cut your produce into smaller pieces than if you are using a juicer.
  2. If you are using a juicer, then run the vegetable and fruit pieces through the juicer. Collect the juice in a pitcher and chill or serve immediately.
  3. If you are using a food processor or blender, add the cucumber, apple, lemon, ginger, and water to the base. Blend or process on high for 20-30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Then, pour the blended juice through a nut milk bag, squeezing it from the top down to drain the juice into a pitcher. Discard the collected pulp, or save it and use it for another purpose.
  5. Serve the juice immediately.

Notes
