Always check with your healthcare provider to make sure that juicing is appropriate for you. Juicing can raise blood sugar levels, but vegetable juices tend to be lower in natural sugars. It really just depends on how sensitive you are, but please do ask your doctor to make sure.

How do I make vegetable juice taste less bitter?

I always recommend juicing mostly vegetables, but adding in a low-sugar fruit like a lemon, lime, or green apple can help mask any bitterness from the vegetables. You can also try juicing less bitter vegetables such as cucumbers if you are sensitive to the flavor.

How much vegetable juice should I drink daily?

This is also dependent on your individual situation. Please ask your healthcare provider. Most people can drink a few ounces up to a few glasses of vegetable juice a day to help increase overall nutrient intake.

Do I have to eat vegetables if I drink vegetable juice?

Most people should be eating their vegetables to get fiber and the full range of vitamins and minerals. Try to think of vegetable juicing as a supplement or added bonus, but not as a substitute for eating vegetables (unless directed to do so by a qualified healthcare provider).
