You’ve probably heard a million times that it’s important to stay hydrated. The Mayo Clinic has a great article about why drinking water is important, and notes that two good indicators that you are not hydrated enough are if you often feel thirsty and if your urine is a dark amber color (although some supplements can artificially change the color of urine).

With warmer weather here and warmer weather on the way, now is a good time to get into the habit of drinking water.

This Lemon Cucumber Water tastes so much nicer than plain water, plus is has a little Vitamin C from the lemon slices. Vitamin C is known to help boost the immune system and is important to have on a daily basis. It also reduces free radicals which can cause disease.

Recipe Steps

This super simple Cucumber Lemon Water Recipe is an infused water that tastes like you’re at the spa! It’s such an easy detox water recipe that you can make at home in just minutes.

Step One

To start, you just need to slice about 1/2 of an English cucumber and 1/2 of a lemon. I like to make the slices fairly thin, to expose as much of the surface of the fruits to the water.
