Lemon & Ginger Green Juice Recipe
Pump up your Vitamin C levels with this delicious Lemon & Ginger Green Juice recipe. It is mild in flavor, slightly sweet, and so healthy.
I’ve been making green juices for almost a decade now, and enjoying the addition of vitamins and antioxidants for my health. Some people have asked me why juicing is a good idea when you could just eat all of those vegetables?
My answer is that there’s no way my stomach can handle eating as many vegetables as I juice. By juicing, I get all of the antioxidants, but hardly any of the fiber. Don’t get me wrong, I still eat plenty of vegetables and think that you should too, but I believe that green juices can enhance our intake of antioxidants even more.
This Lemon & Ginger Green Juice recipe is particularly high in Vitamin C that has been shown to boost the immune system and fight disease. Lemon have loads of it. The six ingredients I used in this recipe include:
- Fresh ginger
- Green apple
You can adapt the ingredients to whatever you have in your fridge or to your own preferences, but I really love this combination.
The apple is optional, and can definitely be left out if you prefer your green juice less sweet. Otherwise, I think you’re really going to like this refreshing ginger lemon juice.

Can green juice prevent me from getting sick?
There is no evidence that juice is more nutritious than eating fruits and vegetables, but juicing is a great way to increase your intake of the micronutrients found in fresh produce.

Can I make this juice in a blender?
Yes. I would recommend adding about 1/2 cup of water to your blender, along with the chopped produce. Blend until smooth and then strain the juice through a nut milk bag.

This Lemon & Ginger Green Juice recipe is mild, slightly sweet, and rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. It’s perfect for a refreshing morning drink.
- 1 medium cucumber, sliced
- 1 head of celery, separated into about 8–10 stalks
- ½-inch knob of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 green apple, sliced
- 2 lemons, skin removed
- Prep all of your ingredients.
- Feed them through the tube of a juicer, alternating soft and hard pieces.
- Serve the juice immediately or store any leftovers in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator. The juice is best served within 24 hours of making it.
It’s ideal to serve juice immediately after making it since the vitamin C will start to diminish almost immediately. If you have extra juice that you want to have later, just pour it into a glass jar and cover with an air-tightly lid. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
BLENDER INSTRUCTIONS: add 1/2 cup of water to your blender, along with the chopped produce. Blend until smooth and then strain the juice through a nut milk bag.
