One simple way to improve your health is to start drinking fresh vegetables juices. It can be an easier way to get nutrients as opposed to having to eat a ton of veggies.

This Beet Carrot Juice is packed with nutrients that can help boost your immune system, fight inflammation, and improve your overall health. Many people also report that drinking beet juice helps with blood flow and blood pressure levels.

Beets and carrots are both rich in antioxidants and other beneficial compounds including vitamin A as beta-carotene, making this juice a great way to get all of the nutrients you need in one drink.

ABC Juice Benefits (Apple Beet Carrot)

  • Beets, apples and fresh carrots are available at any time of year. They are not expensive and they are easy to find and prepare. This juice also has lots of health benefits! See my full article about Carrot Beet Juice Benefits.
  • An apple helps balance the flavors of the juice and adds a touch of natural sweetness.
  • You can make this recipe using a blender or a juicer. It only takes about 15 minutes.

Beet Juice Ingredients

carrots and beets harvested from garden.
  • Beets make the base of this recipe. You can use red beets, striped beets, or golden beets. You don’t need to cook them, just scrub them well and remove the greens, top and bottom. I also use beets as the base of my Liver Cleanse Juice.
  • Carrots help balance the beet flavor and add natural sweetness to the juice. Both beets and carrots are on my list of the best vegetables to juice.
  • Apple also adds natural sweetness. You can use a Granny Smith green apple or any type of red apple. Some people call this the “abc juice” because it has apple, beets, and carrots. Makes it easy to remember the formula! See a tropical variation with my Mango Carrot Juice.

Apple Beet Carrot Juice Recipe Steps

I use an Omega masticating juicer to make all of my juices, but you can also use a high speed blender.

See my list of the best juicer blenders.

Step One

Wash and prep your beets, carrots, and apple.

See the recipe card at the end of this post for the exact measurements.

Step Two

Feed the produce through the feeding tube of your juicer. See my list of the best juicers for carrots.

Or, to make this beet carrot juice in a blender, simply combine the ingredients in the pitcher of a high-speed blender, along with 1/4 cup of water.

If using a blender, blend the ingredients until smooth.

Step Three

Blend and then strain the juice through a nut milk bag to get rid of the pulp. You can save the pulp to make these Carrot Crackers!

This is a very similar method to how I make Watermelon Juice or Strawberry Juice.

Step Four

Serve your beetroot juice immediately.

Fresh vegetables juices in general are best served right after they are made.

Carrot Beet Juice Recipe FAQs

Why do you add apple to the recipe?

The apple is not 100% necessary, but it helps add sweetness and cover any of the earthy flavor from the beets.

What can I do with the juicing pulp?

Don’t throw away the pulp from juicing! You can use it to make juice pulp crackers.

Can I use cooked beets in this recipe?

Yes, but the juice is ideally made with raw, uncooked beets.

What blender or juicer do you recommend?

I use a Vitamix Explorian because it is great at blending harder textures. But, a juicer is best for making vegetable juices. I use an Omega masticating juicer. See my full list of the best juicers for carrots.

Beet Carrot Juice is a yummy drink you can make at home. This juice is packed with essential vitamins and minerals that can help improve your overall well-being. Plus, it’s easy to make and tasty too! Let me show you how to make it with a blender or juicer.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 2 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium beets, scrubbed and rinse well
  • 3 carrots, scrubbed and rinsed well
  • 1 apple

Instructions

  1. Cut your beets, carrots, and apple into large pieces. If you will be using a blender to make your juice, then cut your produce into smaller pieces than if you are using a juicer.
  2. If you are using a juicer, then run the vegetable and fruit pieces through the juicer. Collect the juice and serve immediately.
  3. If you are using a food processor or blender, add the chopped beets, carrots, and apple to the base. Blend or process on high for 20-30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth.
  4. If you are using a blender, you may need to add ¼ to ½ cup of water to help the mixture blend.
  5. Then, pour the blended juice through a fine mesh colander, using a spatula to gently push the juice through the colander. You can also do this using a nut milk bag. You won’t catch all of the fiber, but you’ll strain out some of the fiber to get a clearer juice. Discard the fiber or save it and use it for another purpose.
  6. Serve the juice immediately.

Notes
